I was asked to create a site for content-sharing and social networking in time to premiere at the Euroscience Open Forum in Barcelona: just two weeks from the project start date. The site had to offer user registration and upload capabilities right away. The client also needed a postcard to hand out at the event.

I whipped up a mood board with type treatment, color palette, and some navigation ideas. The preliminary concept was completed and approved on Day One.

I finished the home page and secondary page designs (including registration, profile pages, and pages for sorting, viewing, and uploading content) by Day Four.

The postcard went to the printer on Day Five, and the client had it in hand two days before leaving for Barcelona. Due to the smooth design process and close work with the web developer, the site launched in time to be promoted there, just two weeks after I was hired to design it.
